Police Thanked the Public For Their Patience as the Investigation Unfolded

Portland Police Chief Mark Dubois says he's grateful for investigators who worked around the clock to make an arrest.

This is just the beginning, as we will continue to work with the Office of the Maine Attorney General to build our case as we look for justice for Ms. McHugh.

He thanked the public for their patience as very little information has been released about this investigation, saying sometimes it's not prudent to reveal too much information until an arrest has been made.

Anyone with any information that might help with this or any other investigation is encouraged to call Portland Police at 207-874-8575. They can also text keyword PPDME and their message to 847411.
