
Teen Charged With Attempted Murder For Portland Shooting
A 19-year-old Portland man is facing charges after allegedly shooting a 17-year-old on Tuesday.
A Teen Was Found on Forest Avenue in Portland With a Gunshot Wound
Officers were called to 1390 Forest Avenue in Portland just before 2:30 Tuesday morning for a report of gunshots. When they arrived, the police found a 17-year-old juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound. The teen was transported to Maine Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, but officials say they are now listed in stable condition.
Portland 19-Year-Old Charged With Attempted Murder
Police say Dominic Moncada-Sanchez, 19, of Portland, was arrested less than 24 hours after the 17-year-old was shot. Moncada-Sanchez is charged with aggravated attempted murder, elevated aggravated assault, and violating conditions of release. He was arrested by South Portland Police and transported to the Cumberland County Jail.

This Was the First of Two Shootings Reported in Maine on Tuesday Morning
Police in Waterville spent Tuesday investigating a fatal shooting on Highwood Street. Officers found Stephen Killam, 47, of Fairfield, deceased in a vehicle in the parking lot of Mount Joseph, after receiving reports of multiple gunshots. After a BOLO was released for a black pickup, Clinton's Police Chief arrested Richard Hatt, 53, of Clinton. He's charged with murder.
