Police are trying to locate the man who robbed the Camden National Bank on Route 1 in Waldoboro Monday afternoon.

Officers responded at about 2:30 p.m. after the man entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money.

Police said no weapon was displayed, and no one was hurt in the incident, the Village Soup reported.

The man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police have not identified the suspect. They said he's described as a white male, approximately 6'0" tall with a slender build. He was wearing a dark colored nylon stocking and a large floppy hat at the time of the robbery.
