Poland Shooting Death Ruled a Homicide
Police have identified a person who was fatally shot in Poland.
The Deceased is a Man From Oxford
Maine State Police say the deceased has been identified as Richard Tayman, 51, of Oxford.
Officials Have Ruled the Death a Homicide
The Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office called in the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit to assist in the investigation of a shooting at 252 White Oak Hill Road in Poland on Friday, August 2nd, 2024. The deceased was transported to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta, where an autopsy confirmed Tayman's identity and determined he died of a single gunshot wound. The manner of death has been ruled a homicide.
