Maine law enforcement is looking for a pickup that was stolen from a flatbed truck.
When Was the Truck Stolen?
The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office is investigating an unusual stolen vehicle complaint. The incident happened sometime between Thursday night at 9:00 and Friday morning at 8:00.
Where Was It Located?
Officials say the Dodge 2500 was taken from the Dixmont Road in Etna, just off exit 167. Prior to the theft, the pickup was being towed on a trailer. When the trailer popped a tire, the owner left it on the side of the road until they could repair it. When they returned to the spot the next morning, the pickup was gone. The pickup truck does not run and would have to have been towed from the scene.
