State Police are looking for the driver of a pickup truck that crashed in Clifton overnight.

The truck went off Route 9, was airborne, and then rolled over near the town office in Clifton. According to WABI-TV, it snapped off a utility pole, bringing power lines down in the roadway, and knocking out electricity to about 600 customers in the Clifton area.

When police arrived, there was no one in the vehicle and they were unable to locate the pickup's driver. A check of the pickup's registration gave them the name of the owner. At last report, they were trying to locate the person.

Anyone with information is asked to contact State Police at 973-3700.
