A Phillips man is facing drug trafficking charges after police responded to the overdose of another man.

It all started last Friday, when Franklin County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a report of an overdose at a home in Strong. The deputies administered Naloxone and the man survived, but the incident prompted an investigation into how he got the drugs.

As a result of that investigation, deputies and MDEA agents executed a search warrant at the Phillips home of 50-year-old Scott Pinkham and seized 20 grams of suspected fentanyl/heroin. WGME-TV reports he was charged with two counts of Aggravated Trafficking of Scheduled Drugs and taken to the Franklin County Jail, where bail was set at $75,000 cash.
