"Pretty Heart" singer Parker McCollum has tested positive for COVID-19 and will have to miss a pair of shows scheduled for this week as he quarantines.

The Texas-bred singer revealed the news on social media, adding that he's feeling well for the most part. The message was apologetic, as a frustrated McCollum had been looking forward to playing two shows in Kansas and Oklahoma this weekend.

"After realizing this morning that I could not taste or smell anything at breakfast, I went to get tested  and the results came back showing I was positive for the virus," the 28-year-old McCollum writes. "My deepest apologies to the fans and the venues who were counting on me to perform. I absolutely believe that the shows should go on and I wish more than anything I could be there to play them."

Kane Brown is no stranger to tattoos, so when he found out his favorite tattoo artist was visiting Jason Aldean's house, he wanted in. Many — but certainly not all — of Brown's visible tattoos are musical. There's the three notes behind his right ear and the microphone on his left hand that appears to tear through his forearm before becoming a guitar head. A wolf is on the underside of the same arm, and angel wings frame his shoulders and biceps. Elsewhere, find the Chinese symbol for love, wife Katelyn Jae's name and the Batman logo — it's a mix!  And now? a snarling gorilla tattoo? Why?  Why not? "I'm to the point now where I have so many tattoos I don't even care anymore," Brown tells Taste of Country Nights. "I was like, 'Sure, I'll get a tattoo.' I was trying to fill in space for my sleeve so I was like, 'Throw a gorilla on there.'"

Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, along with host Ryan Seacrest, will all return for American Idol's next season. That was  announced yesterday.

Did ABC-TV have to announce that?  It’s official now
