State Police say two people were summonsed after allegedly resorting to extreme methods while moving an oversized mobile home in Franklin.

Trooper Dana Austin was notified on October 8th, of a large mobile home that was being towed down route 182 in Franklin by a front-end loader. When Austin got to the scene, he found the mobile home blocking most of the roadway. In the time that he followed along behind, the home struck a guardrail and a damaged a mailbox.

The Franklin Fire Department helped police get the mobile home off the road and park it at the Franklin Community Center. As a result of this investigation, Augustus Edgerton, 49 of Carmel is summonsed for operating without a license, while Sarah Day, 28 of Franklin, was summonsed for not having the proper permits to transport the mobile home.
