The U.S. Marshals Service has arrested a man in Ellsworth who was wanted on charges in Oregon for the sexual abuse of a child.

Who Was Arrested?

According to the U.S. Marshals Sevice, Zenn Matthew Vicknair, 50, was arrested on an outstanding warrant that was issued on June 20th. He was taken into custody in Ellsworth, Maine.

How Did the Police Find Him?

Vicknair was arrested after investigators with the United States Marshals Service, Oregon Fugitive Task Force developed information that he was living in Maine. He surrendered to the police without incident.

What Charges Does He Face?

The charges listed on the warrant include:

  • Unlawful sexual penetration of a minor, 4 counts
  • Sodomy in the first degree, 4 counts
  • Sexual abuse in the first degree, 6 counts

He now awaits extradition to Oregon.
