Free wine tasting! What more do you really need to know! Here's what wineries are participating in this special day.

There will be more than just free wine tasting on Open Winery Day as it is a day to celebrate Maine winemakers and their great products! There are more than 22 wineries in Maine and 17 of them are participating in this fun event. So don't wine about a boring weekend when you can be at Open Winery Day!

Each winery will have something different going on throughout the day this Saturday September 16th. The closest winery to the Bangor area participating in the event is Winterport Winery where they will have free samples of wine, cider, beer, and even in-house smoked wings. There will also be tours of the winery with the wine maker and gourmet chocolate tasting as well.

Tree Spirits of Maine- Oakland

Two Hogs Winery- Vasselboro
