North Dakota Fugitive Wanted On Sex Charges Arrested In Maine
A man wanted in North Dakota for sex charges involving a teenager was arrested in Maine.
Who is the Fugitive?
Claude Tuyishime, 25, of Windham, Maine was arrested on Thursday, August 15, 2024.
What is the Charge on the Arrest Warrant?
The U.S. Marshals Service worked with the Maine Violent Offender Task Force says Tuyishime was arrested on a warrant issued on August 2 in North Dakota for Gross Sexual Imposition involving a victim under the age of 15. No further details were released about the crime.
Where Was He Found?
The U.S. Marshals Service worked with the Maine Violent Offenders Task Force to locate and apprehend Tuyishime to Maine. He was tracked to the vicinity of Alfred Road in Biddeford and officials took him into custody without incident.
Tuyishime is charged as a Fugitive from Justice and will be arraigned in Maine, pending his extradition back to North Dakota.
