‘No Shoes Nation’ Packs Kenny Chesney Show on Bangor Waterfront
Kenny Chesney brought his Big Revival Tour to Bangor Thursday night, playing to a capacity crowd at Darling's Waterfront Pavilion!
Chase Rice opened up the show by playing "Do It Like This" from his Ignite the Night album. Later in his set, Rice mentioned he went to high school in North Carolina and went on to play college football for the Tar Heels. He then dedicated the song "Carolina Can" to his former UNC coach, who attended the show on the Bangor waterfront Thursday.
Rice's set also included "Gonna Wanna Tonight," "Ready Set Roll" and "Cruise," a song co-written by Rice and typically performed by Florida Georgia Line.
Chesney opened his set with "Reality" from the 2010 album Hemingway's Whiskey. He played many of the songs we play on Q106.5, including "Beer In Mexico," "Til It's Gone," "Summertime," "Pirate Flag," No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems," "Somewhere With You," "I Go Back," "Wild Child," "American Kids," "How Forever Feels," "Out Last Night" and
Rice came back out on the stage to help Chesney wrap up the show by splitting vocals on "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy."
