Miranda Lambert puts in a lot of time on the road playing for her fans, and she takes them backstage for a look at that hard work in the new video for her current single, "Keeper of the Flame."

The clip begins with Lambert's buses pulling up to a venue where she's rehearsing for her Keeper of the Flame Tour with her band. It shows the casually dressed star working through arrangements and staging with her band and crew in a cavernous arena that's otherwise deserted, interspersed with footage of Lambert doing meet and greets with some young fans.

That gives way to shots of Lambert getting ready for the show backstage, and finally to the road of the crowd on opening night as she takes the stage in front of a packed arena full of cheering fans. Trey Fanjoy directed Lambert's "Keeper of the Flame" video, capturing footage over multiple nights of her tour.

Written by Lambert along with Natalie Hamby and Liz Rose, "Keeper of the Flame" is the fourth single from Lambert's most recent album, 2016's The Weight of These Wings. The thematic double album won Album of the Year at the 2017 ACM Awards, and has been one of the most critically lauded country albums in recent years.

Lambert has also been working with Angaleena Presley and Ashley Monroe on songs for a new Pistol Annies record, and she will hit the road this summer with Little Big Town on their joint Bandwagon Tour.
