Officials Seized Crack Cocaine and Firearms During a Search of the Vehicle

A Deputy with the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office learned that Culpovich was in a vehicle with Moreau who, according to her bail conditions, she was not supposed to have direct or indirect contact with after a search warrant was executed at 32 Pine Street in Milford earlier this month. When the vehicle was stopped on the southbound side of I-95 in Orono, Culpovich initially lied to the Deputy about her identity. The Deputy confirmed it was Culpovich and that the driver was Dolhancryk. A search of the vehicle revealed the suspects had 3.1 ggw of suspected Crack Cocaine, a Glock 9mm handgun, a .22 revolver, Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun, and other items indicative of drug trafficking activities.

Officials Charged All Three with Unlawful Drug Trafficking

All three people were taken into custody:

  • Paul Dolhancryk is charged with aggravated unlawful trafficking of scheduled W drugs, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and violation of conditional release.
  • Tara Culpovich is charged with unlawful trafficking of scheduled W drugs and violation of conditional release.
  • Robert Moreau is charged with unlawful trafficking of scheduled W drugs and violation of conditional release.

Deputies conducted a second search warrant at 32 Pine Street in Milford on Sunday evening and found additional evidence consistent with drug trafficking. Officials say this remains an active investigation.
