Mattawamkeag, Maine, Man is Charged in Connection With a Milford Burglary

Penobscot County Sheriff's officials say Travis Gerry, 53, of Mattawamkeag is charged with burglary and criminal trespassing.

The burglary was reported on April 2, 2026, a deputy assigned to the town of Milford received a burglary complaint from a local business.

It was reported that thousands of dollars worth of tools and mechanical parts had been stolen.

An investigation into the incident pointed to Gerry as a suspect.

On April 3, 2026, authorities located Gerry and got his permission to search his storage unit.

When the Mattawamkeag man consented, deputies and detectives located the stolen items.

Officials have not released the name of the business at the heart of this investigation.
