A small orchestra that will play ABBA and the Beatles by candlelight in an Orrington church.

Lumos Experiences Brings Candlelit Orchestral Performances to Maine

I reached out to a friend who is a member of the East Orrington Congregational Church, and he confirmed that it's a real event, although not directly connected to the church.

Lumos Experiences travels the world, bringing uplifting music to unique venues, including churches.

They rent the venues for memorable experiences.

My friend and I plan to attend, and after watching videos of events in other communities, I can't wait.

The Orrington performance is nearly sold out, but performances in Camden and Augusta are planned in the next couple of months.

Lumos Experiences will bring Fleetwood Mac songs to St. Thomas' Episcopal Church in Camden on Friday, November 20th.

On December 18th, people can experience Vivaldi and Mozart by candlelight at the Emmanuel Lutheran Episcopal Church in Augusta.

Take my advice and get your tickets early. These shows sell out fast.
