Three People Were Found Dead in a House in Mechanic Falls

Police are Investigating after the bodies of three people were found in a home in Mechanic Falls.

Where Did This Happen?

The deceased were discovered by Mechanic Falls Police Saturday afternoon and, at approximately 4:00, they asked for assistance from the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit. Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss says the bodies were found in a home on Highland Avenue but have not commented on what sent the officers to the home originally.

Have Police Released the Identities of the Deceased?

Autopsies will be performed at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta to determine the cause and manner of death. The CME will also work to identify the deceased.
