Massachusetts Fugitive Wanted for a Home Invasion Caught in Maine
A man from Massachusetts with outstanding warrants in that state has been taken into custody in Maine.
Who is the Fugitive?
Darell Love, 33, of Springfield, Massachusetts was arrested in Portland this week.

What are the Charges He Faces?
The U.S. Marshals Service worked with the Maine Violent Offender Task Force to catch up to Love who had multiple warrants issued from the Chicopee District Court in Massachusetts. Charges on the warrants include:
- Home invasion
- Firearm Violation with 3 prior violent/drug crimes
- Kidnapping
- Assault and battery with a dangerous weapon
- Larceny
Love is also charged as a fugitive from justice and will be arraigned in Maine pending his extradition back to Massachusetts.
Where Was He Found?
Federal agencies aided state law enforcement departments in both states in tracking Love from Massachusetts to Maine. He was arrested in a motor vehicle near 27 Washington Street in Portland, Maine on Tuesday.
