The State Medical Examiner's office has revealed the cause of death for one of two people found dead inside a Richmond apartment.

The bodies of 49-year-old Dana Shulman and 47-year-old Robin Bowler were found inside their apartment on Main street in Richmond on November 2nd. Police had gone to the residence for a well-being check. Both bodies were taken for autopsies to determine cause of death.

Now, officials say they've determined that Shuman died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Bowler's cause of death is still being investigated pending the results of toxicology tests, which can take several weeks. Police say they do not believe anyone else was involved and that there is no risk to the public.
