Spooky Season will start soon for a Bangor Mall haunted house.

Maineiac Manor is set to return the first weekend of October. Organizers for the haunted house inside the Bangor Mall announced they open for the season, October 2. In addition, the location has moved to the former Hollister store. The haunt will be open every weekend in October, Saturdays 3-8 p.m. and Sundays 1-5:30 p.m.

The haunt took over a vacant store inside the mall last year, and transformed it into 4,000 square-feet of terror. The success of the attraction extended beyond Halloween season, with a Krampus Christmas themed haunted house back in December.

Maineiac Manor will, once again, be the only major haunted house in the Bangor area taking place in 2021. Earlier this month, Fright at the Fort, at Fort Knox in Prospect was canceled. Plans for the annual Kenduskeag Haunted House were also scrapped.
