Maine Police Say a 36-year-old Mother of 4 Was Last Seen in 2021
Police agencies in Maine are looking for leads in a missing person case that dates back to 2021, involving a mother of 4.
Who is Missing?
Attiin Shaw, 36, is originally from Indonesia but was living in Washburn when she went missing.
Where Was She Last Seen?
Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss says Attiin had been residing in Maine with her family since early 2020. She and her husband lived in Washburn with their four children but, as 2021 drew to a close, she was reported missing to the Washburn Police Department. Maine State Police became involved in the investigation in early 2023.
What Does She Look Like?
Police have released two pictures of Attiin, hoping someone will recognize her. Officials say she has a very noticeable birthmark on the top center of her nose.
So far, officials say no alternative addresses or indications that she is living at another location have been found. On Tuesday, February 13th, 2024 Troopers, Evidence Response Technicians, and Detectives with Major Crimes Unit North were at Shaw's home on Washburn Road as part of their investigation. Police have not indicated what prompted them to examine her home this week.
Anyone with information about Shaw's whereabouts is urged to contact the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit at 207-532-5400 or toll-free at 1-800-924-2261.
