Joseph Hennessey, 41, of South Paris, was pronounced deceased after being transported from the scene by a responding ambulance crew.
Maine State Police Say a Man Died During a Private Fireworks Display in Roxbury
Maine Departmet of Public Safety Spokesperson Shannon Moss says first responders were called to a residence in the town of Roxbury for a report of a man who had collapsed at a gathering during a private fireworks display.

The Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit was called in to assist with the investigation into the circumstances leading up to Mr. Hennessey's death.
Maine State Police Say a Man Was Killed by a Projectile at a Fireworks Display
An autopsy was conducted at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta. Initial findings indicate that Mr. Hennessey was struck and killed by a projectile discharged by a mini cannon at the time of the fireworks display.
This incident remains under investigation.
