A Maine teenager is accused of attacking New York City Police Officers with a machete on New Year's Eve.

Who Is The Suspect?

Trevor Bickford, 19, is from Wells, Maine and is believed to have traveled to New York in the past week. According to WNBC in New York, a relative of Bickford's had contacted the FBI over his alleged pro-jihadist views. Bickford had been interviewed in December in relation to that report. When he was arrested, he allegedly had a journal in his backpack that also expressed some pro-jihadist beliefs.
