Where Did the Alleged Crime Take Place?
Michael Borges, 44, of Lewiston, Maine was arrested earlier this month for an alleged assault that was reported to have taken place in November of last year. He was in Lewiston at the time of his arrest but the crime allegedly took place in Nashua, New Hampshire. Lewiston Police said they had been working with New Hampshire authorities for several weeks leading up to this arrest.
What is Mr. Borges Charged With?
Lewiston Police report that Borges is charged with:
- Aggravated felonious sexual assault
- Interception and disclosure of telecommunication or oral communication prohibited
Officials say the second charge stems from his alleged recording of the incident without the victim's consent. No details about the victim have been released.
