Cambridge Man Faces Charges After Police K9 Finds Illegal Drugs
A Cambridge man is facing charges after a traffic stop netted a variety of illegal drugs.
What Drugs Were Seized?
The Piscataquis County Sheriff's Office says Deputy Michael Pina pulled over a vehicle on Hudson Avenue in Guilford at approximately 10:00 Wednesday night. The reason for the stop was that the vehicle allegedly had defects and the owner's driver's license had been suspended.
Deputy Robert Cook and his K9 Sccy helped with the traffic stop and the K9 indicated on the vehicle, alerting the deputies to possible illegal drugs in the vehicle. A search was conducted and the deputies found suspected cocaine, fentanyl, oxycodone, and suboxone, as well as $3,100 in cash.
Who Was Charged?
As a result of the search, the driver was arrested:
- Timothy Rolfe, 48, of Cambridge is charged with unlawful trafficking in a scheduled W drug.
He was taken to the Piscataquis County Jail, where he remains incarcerated, awaiting his first court appearance.
