
Maine Drug Agents Arrest 4 in 2 Separate Communities
Maine Drug Agents have had a busy week, arresting four people during investigations in two different communities.
Maine Drug Agents Arrested 2 Suspects in a Hancock Investigation
A search warrant executed in a residence on Route 1 in Hancock resulted in two arrests:
- Roland Potter, 38, of Hancock, is charged with aggravated trafficking cocaine base. The charge is elevated to aggravated because of the presence of a firearm. No bail was set.
- Justin Gray, 43, of Blue Hill, is charged with unlawful trafficking of cocaine base. Bail is set at $2,500.
MDEA agents were added by the Maine State Police Tactical Team in this bust because of the serious nature of the crimes, the threat of firearms, and the criminal histories of the people involved.
Traffic was diverted on Route 1 during the execution of the warrant on Tuesday afternoon.
Seized in this investigation was evidence of drug trafficking and two firearms, one of which was an illegally modified (sawed-off) shotgun.
Winslow Maine Police Aided Drug Agents in the Seizure of Nearly $64K in Drugs
An investigation in Winslow also resulted in the arrests of two people:
- Brian Gleason, 38, of Winslow, is charged with 1 count of aggravated trafficking.
- Milciades Diaz-Soto, 24, of Charlestown, Massachusetts, is charged with 1 count of aggravated drug trafficking.
The investigation into the sale of cocaine and fentanyl led police to Gleason's home in Winslow. A search warrant was executed at the residence on July 1st and Gleason was arrested during a traffic stop.
Seized in the Winslow search were 505 grams of cocaine, 7 grams of fentanyl, a loaded handgun, and over $2,000 in suspected drug proceeds.
The combined estimated street value of the drugs is $63,900.
