Maine Police Seize Guns, Stolen Items, And Drugs, Arrest 4

Maine State Police have arrested four people and seized multiple guns after a traffic stop prompted the execution of a search warrant.

Stockton Springs Investigation Nets Charges for Multiple People

Four people face charges in connection with this investigation:

• Nicholas Hart, 38, violation of bail conditions
• Brittany Saucier, 25, violation of bail conditions
• Tyler Damon, 33, failure to appear arrest warrant
• Raymond Pomeroy Jr, 39, felony possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, violating bail.

Pomeroy, who lived at the residence that was searched, was in jail at the time of this search.

Maine Police Get a Search Warrant After Seizing Suspected Drugs From Traffic Stop

It was Monday evening, January 13, 2025 when Maine State Police conducted an investigative motor vehicle traffic stop on the Cape Jellison Road in Stockton Springs. The stop was initiated by various tips of illegal firearm activity and stolen property and produced evidence of potential drug use and drug trafficking. Officials say a search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of over 192 grams of an off-white powder and a large bag of drug equipment. Drug-related charges are pending lab results. Hart and Saucier were arrested during that traffic stop.

Cross Lane Search Results in Seizure of Multiple Guns, Stolen Property

The discovery of drugs led Maine State Police to obtain a search warrant for 27 Cross Lane, a residence officials believe Hart and Saucier were using. The search warrant resulted in the seizure of:

• A 22 revolver
• A 22 long rifle
• A 30-30 lever action hunting rifle
• 2 muzzle loaders
• Stolen property valued at $3,000

The stolen property was subsequently returned to its rightful owner. Hart was transferred to Two Bridges Jail and Saucier was transported to the Knox County Jail.
