You Bet Maine Has a Cheese Festival-Its Sept 10 in Pittsfield
First, no knock on our neighboring state’s cheese. But let’s give Maine some much-deserved accolades when it comes to cheese.
The Maine Cheese Festival is a great way to celebrate. The event is on Sunday, September 10th. And this is the 7th annual Maine Cheese Festival.
And please note that if you want to attend the Maine Cheese Festival, you must purchase tickets in advance. There will be no walk-up tickets sold. They are only available online. Here is the link for those tickets.
The Maine Cheese Guild celebrates the many talents of the Maine cheese-making community. Of course, there will be awards.
Making cheese isn’t easy. Making great cheese is an art, so why not celebrate with some blue ribbons?
The Maine Cheese Guild supports and encourages the cheesemaking community all across Maine. This event will do that and educate cheesemakers and those that choose to go to the event.
Choose the early bird session which starts at 11 a.m., or the general admission session which begins at Noon. And the event runs until 6 p.m.
Maine Cheese Festival is all about Maine cheese. But there are lots of other exhibitors. Farmers, coffee roasters, bread makers, and artisans.
Cheesemakers, animals, drinks, music, and snacks. And all that cheese. Samples of cheese? Of course, all day long. What's not to love.
The event takes place at Manson Park, in Pittsfield. Sunday September 10th.
