Some at work respond with 'little white lies' when questioned by the boss. For some of us, those little white lies were learned in grade school. You know 'The dog ate my homework' type statements.

At work it's "That wasn't my fault" "I have to leave early today for a (fill in the blank) appointment" "That was my idea" You get the drift.

Why lie at work, why not just tell the truth, you know, like "Hey boss, you're looking great. Have you lost weight. Is that a new shirt."
