Lewiston officials have taken three people into custody after a drug bust at a home where a young child was present.

Only 2 of the Suspects Are Facing Drug Charges

Three people were arrested as the result of a search warrant at a Lewiston residence:

  • Dylan Tessier, 24, of Lewiston for unlawful aggravated trafficking in fentanyl
  • Normand Tessier, 63, of Lewiston for unlawful aggravated trafficking in fentanyl
  • Tamesha Parker, 31, of Lewiston for endangering the welfare of a child

All three suspects were transported to the Androscoggin County Jail. Bail for the Tessiers was set at $25,000 each and at $250 for Parker.

Officials Seized a Significant Amount of Illegal Drugs and a Rifle

Members of the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and Lewiston Police Department served a search warrant at 229 Blake Street, Apartment 1 in Lewiston at approximately  7:00 Tuesday morning. The search warrant was the result of a month-long investigation into the illegal distribution of fentanyl and methamphetamine from the apartment. When agents entered the home, they found all three suspects, as well as a 9-year-old child. The adults were taken into custody without incident and the child was released to a family member who had no association with the Blake Street Apartment.

Seized in that search were approximately 80 grams of fentanyl packaged for resale, an AK-47 semi-automatic rifle, and $2,500 in suspected drug proceeds. The approximate street value of the seized fentanyl is $10,000.
