
Maine Brothers Arrested With Illegal Drugs And A Stolen Gun
Two brothers from Lewiston are facing charges after a search warrant turned up illegal drugs and firearms.
Suspects in a Lewiston Drug Bust are Brothers
The two men who were arrested on Tuesday are:
- Haji Haji, 26, of Lewiston
- Ali Haji, 22, of Lewiston
Both of the men were transported to the Androscoggin County Jail.

Police Seized Illegal Drugs and Firearms from a Lewiston Residence
Lewiston Police served a search warrant at 108 Pierce Street, Apartment 3 on Tuesday and that search resulted in the Haji brothers' arrests. Officials say the search resulted in the seizure of:
- 12 grams of cocaine base
- 10 grams of fentanyl
- Handgun
- Shotgun
- Over $15,000 in suspected drug proceeds
Officials say the handgun had been reported stolen by the owner.
Haji Haji was on probation for unlawful trafficking schedule B drugs at the time of his arrest and is now charged with aggravated trafficking in schedule drugs along with a probation hold. His bail was set at $15,000 while his brother's bail is $25,000. Ali Haji is charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, theft by receiving stolen property, and criminal forfeiture.
