Jose Likely To Bring Thunderstorms, Rip Tides To Downeast Maine [UPDATE]
The National Weather Service on Monday updated its forecast to include how Hurricane Jose could impact Maine.
The storm is expected to stay south of the Gulf of Maine, but bring showers and thunderstorms into Downeast Maine Tuesday night through Wednesday evening, according to a Facebook post from the National Weather Service in Caribou.
The storm's impact will include high surf, dangerous rip tides and coastal flooding Tuesday into Wednesday.
