Jimmie’s Ice Cream and Grill Announces Season Opening Date

A local favorite seasonal snack stand is prepping to open for the season.

Jimmie's Ice Cream and Grill is gearing up for another season. The seasonal snack stop plans to open for the 2021 season March 1.

Jimmie's typically remains open for much of the year, closing their season by the end of October.

The ice cream and snack stand has been a take-out staple in Brewer for 30 years as of last season.

The Brewer favorite is located at 409 North Main Street.

Other popular snack stand around the Bangor area have yet to make plans for their 2021 season. Typically, Gifford's Ice Cream Stand in Bangor, and Jordan's Snack Bar in Ellsworth, open sometime in the Spring.

Crosby's Drive-In in Bucksport plans to open in April.
