The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at the home of Cronkite and Day on Crosby Street in Hartland, that had been issued in response to an investigation into the alleged illegal drug activity at the residence. Seized in that search were approximately 630 grams (over a pound) of fentanyl and cocaine, 50 Suboxone strips, controlled pills, over $39,000 in suspected drug proceeds, a load AK-47, two long guns, digital scales, drug packaging materials, and illegal drug-related paraphernalia. Officials say the seized drugs have an estimated street value of $70,000.
Guns and the Large Amount of Drugs Seized Elevated the Charges in the Hartland Bust
The trafficking charges in this case were elevated to aggravated because of the amount of drugs seized and the presence of firearms. This investigation is ongoing and officials say more charges may be forthcoming.
