For Mainers Who Like Sunny & 70, Here We Go

If it’s not the most popular topic when you’re chatting across the fence, or when you bump into somebody, who knows what is.

"How about this weather?"  "Chillier this morning." "The highs aren't very high anymore."

Hold on. Yes, they are. And this is not the first time we’ve had a few chilly nights and cooler days and the leaves are changing color and people decide it’s not going to get mild again until spring. Sorry, you’re wrong. Happens a lot in early October. Within a day or two, a lot of Maine will be about 5 to 10 degrees milder than normal for this time of the year. So if you like your weather Sunny and around 70, sit tight. It’ll be here before you know it.
