The investigation involved the shooting death of 36-year-old Tyler Morin of Lewiston, which happened just before 11:00 on the morning of May 20th. Maine State Police and the Augusta Police Department investigated the incident.

As a result of that investigation, the Attorney General's Office has determined that 48-year-old Rob Drummond of Augusta acted in self-defense when he shot Morin and therefore no criminal charges will be brought against him.
