Farmington Police are investigating after a mother and her adult daughter were found dead on Red Schoolhouse Road.

Where Were They Found?

Officials say the deceased were found on Red Schoolhouse Road before noon on Wednesday. Their bodies were located within the Pawsitive Dog Kennel business. The victims lived on the property, in a separate building.

Have Police Released the Identities of the Deceased?

Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss says the deceased have been identified as Jean Robinson, 76, and her daughter, Allison Cumming, 53. The women's bodies were transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta where autopsies were performed on Thursday.

Are the Deaths Considered Suspicious?

The cause of manner of death were not released by police. Officials say there is no known immediate threat to the public.
