Maine Man Is Accused Of Burglarizing Friends & Family Market
A Lamoine man is facing charges for his alleged participation in the burglary of an Ellsworth store.
The Friends & Family Market Suspect Was Arrested After Police Searched His Home
Marshall Fowler, 34, of Lamoine is charged with burglary, theft, criminal mischief, and violation of conditions of release. He was arrested on Sunday when Ellsworth Police stopped a vehicle in which he was a passenger. Based on evidence collected during the investigation, Fowler was taken to the Ellsworth Police Department for questioning and subsequently arrested.

Ellsworth PD Says Surveillance Video Showed Cigarettes, Lottery Tickets Being Stolen
The charges stem from an alleged burglary to the Friends & Family Market on State Street in Ellsworth. Police were called to the store after the suspect(s) were viewed on security footage, allegedly taking cigarettes and scratch-off lottery tickets. The value of the tickets was approximately $600. As investigators looked into the incident, they were led to Fowler's residence, where a search warrant was executed, with help from the Hancock County Sheriff's Office. Fowler was not home at the time of the search, but officials were able to collect other evidence. Later that day, the traffic stop was conducted and the suspect was taken into custody.
