Ella Langley always believed in her song ‘You Look Like You Love Me,’ even when others around her were unsure about it.
Speaking on the This Past Weekend with Theo Von podcast, she shared that she had to stand her ground during the recording process to keep the song true to her original vision.

The song, a duet with Riley Green, opens with Langley speaking the first verse before she sings the chorus and Green delivers the second verse.
Despite pushback from her team, Langley stuck to her vision, and ‘You Look Like You Love Me’ became her breakthrough hit, topping the country charts, landing on the Billboard Hot 100, and earning multiple CMA and ACM Awards.
