Officials Say Speed and Driving to Endanger Likely Contributed to the Crash

The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office says an early investigation indicates that a GMC Yukon, driven by Matthew Dualan, was traveling south on Rebel Hill Road when the vehicle crossed the center line on a curve at a high rate of speed. Officials say the Yukon struck a Honda CRV driven by Roger Brown. Both men died at the scene.

This crash remains under investigation but officials say speed and driving to endanger are believed to have been contributing factors.

Our condolences to Mr. Dualan and Mr. Brown's family and friends.

We'll update this story as more details become available.
