Singer-songwriter Danika Portz stopped into the Q-106.5 studios this summer on her way to a show in Ellsworth. On Wednesday, the country songstress released the video for her single "Greatest Show on Earth," which she was kind enough to perform for us during her visit.

The video, which debuted at Country Weekly, follows Danika through a largely empty Tennessee State Fair in Nashville as she recounts the song's troubled love story that she penned with co-writer Chris Drizen. The circus, they decided, would be the backdrop for the song.

"We both gravitated toward that idea and there was something about it—it just felt dark, so that’s where we took it in terms of the story line and in terms of somebody feeling used and abused," she told Country Weekly.

Here's some more from Danika from when she and fellow Nashville artist Scott Mulvahill stopped by the studios.
