Crash Closes Route 1A In Dedham; Motorists Urged To Avoid Area

A serious two-vehicle crash on Route 1A in Dedham has closed both the north and southbound lanes.

The accident is between the Lucerne Inn and Lily Road, according to the Maine Department of Transportation.

WABI is reporting that authorities have said the road is expected to be closed for much of the evening. Motorists should expect delays and should seek alternate routes.
