A Search of Her Vehicle Resulted in the Seizure of Cocaine and Methamphetamine

A police K9 was deployed and alerted on the vehicle, so a search was conducted. Officers found a 'STASH' coffee tumbler, which has a false bottom authorities say is often used to conceal illegal substances. They opened the bottom of the tumbler and allegedly located:

  • 10.9 grams of cocaine HCL
  • 20.98 grams of cocaine base
  • 13.86 grams of methamphetamine.

Police say the tumbler is 10 inches high, with a 3.5-inch deep compartment in the bottom.

Salisbury Has a History With Police and Had Bail Conditions Before This Arrest

Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesperson Shannon Moss says Salisbury has a prior conviction in 2006 for unlawful drug trafficking and is currently released on 2 sets of bail conditions. Her bail was set at $50,000, but due to the violation of bail charges, she must appear before a judge.

She's currently being held at the Somerset County Jail.

We'll update this story as more details become available.
