It's a no go for COJO.

Cody Johnson has scrapped his Maine tour stop. The rising country star had plans to perform in Portland at the State Theatre, May 14. The show was originally postponed, but the show is no longer listed on COJO's or the venue's websites.

COJO made his country radio debut with his ballad "On My Way To You." The song went on to be his first RIAA certified gold single. The single is found on his 2018 record Ain't Nothin' To It, which debut at #1 on country albums chart, according to Music Row.

The Texas singer has been nominated for the Academy of Country Music Award for New Male Artist of the Year. Also nominated in the category is Jordan Davis,
Russell Dickerson, Riley Green, and Morgan Wallen.

The ACM awards show will now be broadcast on Sept. 16, live from Nashville. It will the first time in the show's 55 year history that Music City will play host. The broadcast will be filmed from three iconic Nashville venues; The Ryman Auditorium, Grand Ole Opry House, and The Bluebird Cafe.

This summer, Johnson was to hit the road opening for Miranda Lambert on her Wildcard Tour. In addition, COJO was set to embark on his own headlining trek, in which his Portland stop was a part of.
