Buxton Man Charged With Attempted Murder For Shooting

A Buxton man is charged with attempted murder for shooting another man in front of an Old Orchard Beach Road home.

Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says 19-year-old Brandon Lasante was arrested last night and charged with attempted murder and elevated aggravated assault.He's accused of shooting 28-year-old Lincoln Kimball of Hollis at around 2:30 on the morning of August 6th in front of Lasante's residence. Kimball is making a slow recovery and was interviewed last week in his hospital room.

Lasante was taken to York County Jail. He's expected to make his first court appearance today or Wednesday.
