
Brewer Police Arrest 3 With Drugs Who Had Warrants/Probation
Three people with bail conditions for previous arrests now face drug charges after encountering Brewer Police earlier this week.
Brewer, Maine Police Say 3 People With Conditions Prohibiting Drug Use Were Arrested
The individuals who were arrested in Brewer on July 9th are:
- Albert Russell, 41, of Holden, had an active warrant for failure to appear.
- Robert Cote, 47, of Brewer, was on probation with conditions prohibiting drug use or possession.
- Dawn Thibodeau, 42, of Brewer, was on probation with conditions prohibiting drug use or possession.
They were all faced with additional charges after their arrests this week in Brewer.
Brewer Police Allegedly Seized Fentanyl From a Suspect Near Lyford Drive
In the first investigation on Wednesday, Brewer Police received a report of a suspicious person in the area of Lyford Drive. Three members of the Brewer PD responded and identified Albert Russell, allegedly in possession of fentanyl.

Albert Russell was charged with:
- Warrant - failure to appear.
- Aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs.
Brewer Police Arrested 2 People On Probation, Allegedly in Possession of Fentanyl
Later that same day, the same officers responded to a report of wanted individuals who had been spotted on South Main Street. When they got to the scene, the police identified Robert Cote and Dawn Thibodeau. Fentanyl was also seized during this incident.
Robert Cote is charged with:
- Probation hold.
- Unlawful possession of Schedule W drugs.
Dawn Thibodeau is charged with:
- Probation hold.
- Unlawful possession of Schedule W drugs
- Falsifying physical evidence.
All three suspects were transported to the Penobscot County Jail.
