
Brewer Police Arrest 1 in Raid, Seize 45+ Grams of Illegal Drugs
Brewer Police expect more charges in connection with a drug raid on Chamberlain Street Monday.
Why Were Police At the Residence?
Neighbors noticed a large police presence around an apartment house located at 20 Chamberlain Street on Monday morning. Brewer Police were at the address to execute a search warrant in connection with an ongoing investigation.

Will More People Be Charged in This Case?
When they entered the residence, officers encountered seven people inside, one of whom was transported to the hospital for medical treatment. Officials say the person's medical issue was not related to the search warrant execution. Rhonda Morin, 48 of Brewer, was found to be in possession of illicit drugs and was charged with unlawful possession of schedule W drugs. Police say charges of aggravated trafficking in schedule W drugs and trafficking in schedule W drugs will be forthcoming. The names of other people in the apartment will be released once they have been formally charged.

What Drugs Were Seized?
Seized in the search were approximately 26 grams of fentanyl and 23 grams of cocaine base, also known as crack. The drugs were found in various areas around the apartment. This case remains under investigation.
