Officials have released the names of the people involved in a fatal fire Sunday morning in Boothbay.

The State Fire Marshal's office says the fire on Pleasant Cove Road was reported just before 8 a.m. Sunday. Two men, whose bodies were found near windows on the second floor, died while trying to escape the blaze. They have been identified as 50-year-old Baldomero Zamora and 23-year-old Lucas Farias. A woman, who was also on the second level, survived by jumping out one of the windows. She's identified as 48-year-old Julie Gilbert, who is Zamora's girlfriend and Farias' mother. She is being treated for burns. All three are from Chicago, although Gilbert once lived in Damariscotta.

Officials say a mother and her two children, who were sleeping on the first floor, escaped with minor injuries. They are 26-year-old Alexandra King of Winslow, 8-year-old Harley Raymond, and 4-year-old River Raymond. All were treated and released.

The victims were renting the Cape Cod style house for the weekend as a belated 50th birthday party for Zamora. A birthday party with several invited friends had been held earlier in the evening at the home. Investigators from the State Fire Marshal's office say the fire started in the first floor living room, but have not yet determined exactly what caused the fire.
