Hundreds of people packed Pickering Square on Saturday for the 2nd Annual Oktobeerfest in Downtown Bangor for some beer, barbecue and tunes from local musicians.

The Mallett Brothers Band headlined the event, sponsored by Townsquare Media Bangor. The band even debuted a song or two from their upcoming album for the crowd, which danced throughout the evening despite the intermittent showers.

Hancock singer-songwriter Chris Ross, who joined us in studio last week, opened the afternoon with a set of originals including "Mostly Sober" and "Drunk Women," and covers including the Sonny Boy Williamson/Allman Brothers Band classic "One Way Out."
